Concert Dress

In a performance, it is not only important to sound good but to also look good as well. To achieve a professional look students are expected to wear the following concert attire: FJH Orchestra Shirt, black pants/skirt and black shoes.

For students with some playing experience, this course continues to develop skills in bowing, fingering and reading music with good intonation and rhythm. Orchestra members participate in school concerts and local and regional festivals. This class is also open to beginning level students. Beginning level students are expected to meet with the director either before or after-school for extra help at least once a week.
