Originally from Kendallville, IN Mr. Spidel graduated from East Noble High School. After high school, he attended Indiana State University in Terre Haute, IN where he was the principal euphonium player for the ISU Wind Ensemble for four years. While in college, he worked with area bands teaching private lessons and marching bands. Some of the bands that he worked with were Northview, Gibson Southern, Clay City, East Noble, and Owen Valley. During his last semester at ISU, he student taught at Homestead High School in Ft. Wayne, IN.

In 1996, he was fortunate enough to march with The Phantom Regiment Drum and Bugle Corps as they were crowned Co-Champions at the DCI World Championships in Orlando, FL.

This is his fifteenth year of teaching and seventh year in the HSE District. Previous teaching experience include Clay City Jr./Sr. High School as the head Band Director for one year and then seven years as the Assistant Director of Bands at Owen Valley High School in Spencer, IN. Mr. Spidel is also a member of the Tri States Judges Association, Indiana Bandmasters Association, TriState Circuit, the National Association for Music Education, and the Mid East Judges Association where he travels around the country adjudicating marching bands and winter guards.





Todd C. Lehman is currently in his seventh year of teaching at Fishers Junior High in Fishers Indiana. He brings to Fishers eighteen years of teaching experience which have afforded him a variety of experiences including three years as band director at Caston Educational Center in Fulton Indiana and nine years as band director at Grissom Middle School/Penn High School, in Mishawaka, Indiana.

Mr. Lehman, an active enthusiast of music technology, enjoys working as a SmartMusic/Finale clinician, and recently represented Makemusic Technologies at the National Association of Music Makers convention in Indianapolis, Indiana. He has presented sessions on Finale Music at the 2006 Illinois Music Educators Conference, the 2007 and 2008 Indiana Music Educators Convention, and the 2007 Michigan Music Educators Conference.

Mr. Lehman has been an adjudicator for Indiana State School Music Association (ISSMA) and Indiana Music Educators Association (IMEA), served as guest conductor for the Indiana Bandmasters Association (IBA) Northwest and East Central All-Region Honor Band in 2005 and 2007 respectively. He is also scheduled to direct the 2009 North Central IBA site in South Bend in November 2009. He has served as the 2004-2005 middle school band coordinator for ISSMA, the 2007 area middle school band representative for IBA, and presides as the current ISSMA middle school band coordinator and the IBA area chairman for middle school bands.

A 1992 graduate of Ball State University, Lehman was the recipient of the Young Artist Scholarship, and the BSU State Academic Scholarship. He has performed as solo artist with the Ball State Symphony Orchestra, has played as a performer at Cedar Point Amusement Park in Sandusky Ohio, and has played in several local symphony orchestras. Lehman has attended schools for continuing education in Chicago, Indianapolis, and Oregon.

Mr. Lehman resides in Fishers, Indiana and enjoys devoting time to his wife Dana and their three children Emily 12, Ethan 9, and Nolan 7.
